Kailee McGee is a filmmaker and writer who blurs the line between reality and fiction. Her work explores the intersections of life, art, connection, and identity. Kailee’s body of work includes commercials, music videos, experimental and narrative films. Her projects have screened at festivals such as SXSW, Tribeca, Raindance, SIFF, and Palm Springs, and on platforms like NOWNESS, Director’s Library, Short of the Week, and Vimeo Staff Picks. Kailee was born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in Laguna Beach, California. She studied at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and now lives in Los Angeles.
